FELT is a collaborative curatorial research project based in Bristol.

FELT was founded by Lizzie Lloyd and Gemma Brace. Lizzie is currently working on a PhD on Art Writing and Subjectivity at the University of Bristol and Gemma is an Exhibitions Manager with a particular interest in site and contexts of display.

Online, FELT provides a space for us to experiment.  It is a conversation through images and sometimes words.  We are interested in what happens to images when they are arranged without a preset theme, style, or historical period in mind.  What happens when, instead, visual and associative echoes carry our conversations forward?

As we develop physical exhibitions and events we will be adding information about these to this site under FELT Projects.

We are interested in hearing from artists, curators, writers and creative practitioners who are interested in working together.
